| yes it was slow, i believe thats what made it a real story of the legendary jesse james. I thoruoghly enjoyed the film. |

| One of my favourite films of the last ten years, but it is very, very slow. Don't expect thrill a minute stuff. |

| 2.5 hours to tell a 45-minute story. Acting superb, cinematography pretty good. It was just--so---slow-w-w-w. I kept checking my watch to see how much longer it would last. Several times I almost shut it off, but I'd paid good money for it. |
