Still a hard sell. In the movie the Philistines are today's Zionist Israelis; the authentic Philistines, todays Palestinians did not behave thus.

Taken from the Old Testament book named "Judges," the book is compiled by the Deuteronomistic Historian from 2 sources: a collection of hero stories, and a list of minor judges names. Theme of the Samson story: faithfulness and loyalty to Yah-Weh (Jehovah) at all costs. According to the historian, it was a hard lesson to sell, to say the least. Good night and good luck (Thank God these are only movies).
