tough film to comment on. not certain of any "mommy-issues" I may have, or if I found the thrust of the film somewhat uncomfortable. loved the soundtrack, and the team of Eastwood/Streep held the storyline together. scenic to say the least, and the covered bridges added a "earthy cohesion." so somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. enjoy.

This might be a good or great movie but half of the first 20 minutes that I watched was in French and no subtitles so stopped it...didn't really know what was going on.
