| I earned a Masters degree from EU during the period of this trial, and this film has many inaccuracies. For example, some exterior and interior sets incorrectly portrayed Atlanta, GA and Emory U. Also, Lipstadt is shorter than Rachel Weiss and has plain facial features. Rachel is too attractive and tall to portray Lipstadt's plain style and manners. In makeup, actresses like Reese Witherspoon or Anna Chlumsky or Sara Jessica Parker would have given the audience a better representation of Dr. Lipstadt. This is a good film, with an excellent British cast, nonetheless the editing reduced the tension of the story. |
