I redressed the balance on the ratings. I'd give it 4/5. i love Paul Thomas Anderson and Thomas Pynchon, and this had the best of both. The plot is incidental... it's not really about that. It is, though, hilarious. I laughed more at this than i did any of those rubbish Hangover films. |

this film will require (at least for me) more than one viewing before I can rate it. suffice it to say the film did keep my state of mind within an haze of confused wonderment. great cast, great direction. Noteworthy: this narrative may not be suitable for all tastes. will score this one at a later date. good night and good luck. |
