| Very good movie. Not quite as good as Saving Private Ryan or We Were Soldiers or Inglorious Bastards... but it's close. I would put this above Wind Talkers or Thin Red Line. Definitely better than the remakes of Midway and Pearl Harbor. |

| well worth the watch! epic war film, quite sad throughout, by clearly outlining the brutality of war. excellent efforts by Brad Pitt, Shia Lebeouf. outstanding cast, well integrated into this wartime narrative. enjoy. |

| My Dad was the sweetest, most loving man; and he was a Lt. Colonel in WWII. You would never know that he ever had gone through something like what was depicted in this movie. I miss him SO MUCH. Wonderful acting, brutal and harsh scenes...but a most memorable movie. 5 stars. |
