| well, somebody had to take one for the team. before any viewer pulls out their biblical commentaries, don't bother. there is little critical apparatus that can assist you in your viewing endeavor, at least relating to this film. with the utmost respect towards cultural harmony, scripture and church community praxis, my difficulty to comprehend began at the film's start, and remained to it's finish. my confusion was further compounded by the film's continual reliance on "proof texting." heavy Christian theme(s) throughout, so not very high on the thriller/chiller scale. for 5 mgs? might want to save that to tithe your own church community and/or favorite charity. good night and good luck. |
