| Better than expected. Read the facinating book by Thor Heyerdal many years ago and expected a glossy version in this film. So it was, but also With some spectacular scenes and some great filming. Most of the original storyline came through, but with som lack of debth in the caracters. I'm also sceptical about changing the caracter of Herman Watzinger to a weak Coward. This has no roots in reality and is only means to create drama.
However as a drama in most ways based on the real story this film has some great moments and is not boring, spricingly. 3,5 out of 5 stars! |
