Faith based films quite often do not come off as being sincere. This is not the case here.Don't expect special effects and great cinematography. This is just gut wrenching down to earth stuff that you won't ever forget. Trust me if you watch it you won't ever forget what you saw. 5 of 5

This film was utterly amazing! Few movies really change your life the way this one will. It reaches to the heart of it all. Everyone should see this movie. Worth every moment you invest in watching it. Completely surprised me. Have the tissues ready though cause you will laugh and cry.

I watched the movie first, and then I read some of the criticism on IMDb. Personally, as a European, I find the typical American Bible believing spirituality disturbing, but on the other hand it by no means lessens the fundamental message of the movie about fatherlessness vs. fatherhood, about belonging somewhere, about taking on responsibility in life, about being involved in the lives of one's children, about courage. True, the acting was not fully professional, but it was not bad either. True also, the script was weak in parts, but strong in others. I found the movie very entertaining and enjoyable from beginning to end. Admittedly, I have some suspicions about the way women, mothers, and their roles are depicted, but I am not sure about it. I don't want to spoil the movie for others, so I'll leave it at that.

One of the best all times. Men take responsibility, be courageous. Advising ALL my fellow MEN to watch this movie and take example.
