| Great historical blunder. The intended story was excellent, but the script portrayal in this film was lacking the true effect of what really occurred. I'm not certain what the intent of this film was to portray. Was it to demonstrate the black fighters in WWII? Accomplished. Was it to portray the diversity of the black fighters in WWII? Not accomplished. Was it trying to portray the outstanding flying skills and excellent aircraft of the day? Accomplished. Clearly, the film open the stories of the past, but individuals not fully aware of the Afro-American accomplishments, this film only created a blunder of black feats of the day.
