| I thought Charlize Theron is amazing in this film. The repercussions of depression and alcoholism in the eyes of success. Great story!!! |

| This movie is about a woman who tries to recapture what she feels was the best time of her life - when she was a young adult in h.s. and college, with a perfect boyfriend, good looks, and her whole future ahead of her. She is a writer of young adult fiction, unable to enjoy or appreciate her real life, which is a depressing mess. At 37 and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, she returns to her home town in an effort to reclaim her youth, including the boyfriend she left behind all those years ago - who is now happily married with a new baby. Charlize Theron is perfect in this role. The writing is good and realistic. I gave it 4 stars. |
