| I couldn't see Michelle Williams as Marilyn. I'm a huge fan of Marilyn and I don't think Michelle was right for the roll. She ruined the film for me :( |

| I never got to see the movie. It buffered and buffered for over 5 minutes and never came on. |

| Wow. Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh were amazing. A very good film, particularly for those interested in Monroe and that era of film making. It is an intimate look into just a few weeks of her life from the point of view of an outsider who was new to film life at the time. Based on a true story. Takes place in England and is about the filming of 'The Prince and the Show Girl', which starred Marilyn Monroe and Lawrence Olivier. Marilyn, who was at this time married to Arthur Miller, wanted to shed her movie star image and be a serious actress, while Olivier, who was married to Vivien Leigh, wanted to leave the stage for Hollywood - and the film is partly about their struggles to do so. |
